Nareg Gourjian
Nareg Gourjian joined the Gourjian Law Group in January 2010. Mr. Gourjian provides GLG the highest quality of service consistent with his training and background. Prior to joining Gourjian Law Group, Mr. Gourjian practiced for seven years with the prominent law firm of Geragos & Geragos. At the Geragos firm, Mr. Gourjian served as co-counsel with managing partner Mark J. Geragos on numerous high profile cases including R&B singer Chris Brown, Scott Peterson, Kazuyoshi Miura and hip-hop/rap artist Nate Dogg. Mr. Gourjian currently represents Dr. Conrad R. Murray in connection with the death of king of pop Michael Jackson, and also represents Joe Finley, an "America's Got Talent" prospect whose wife was found dead last fall at a Los Angeles hotel. Mr. Gourjian has been named a "Rising Star" by Southern California Super Lawyers and Los Angeles Magazine for nine years straight (2002-2011). Mr. Gourjian was also selected by the Armenian Bar Association as one of this year’s “20 Rising Stars Under 40”. Mr. Gourjian has also appeared as a guest and legal commentator on "Greta Van Susteren's On The Record, FOX News"; "CNN Headline News"; “Piers Morgan tonight, CNN”; “Good Morning America, ABC News”; and “Dr. Drew, HLN.” Mr. Gourjian served as a law clerk to the Hon. Mary Ann Murphy of the Superior Court of the State of California, and externed for the Hon. Dickran Tevrizian of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in California and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Armenian Bar Association. Mr. Gourjian received his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated with honors in Sociology. He earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2002. While at Loyola Law, Mr. Gourjian served as an Editor on the Board of the Entertainment Law Review. |
